Thank you for giving me the chance to contribute to this great site and god bless .
Note: This mod is very scalable, suggestions and rework is highly recommended.
Please note that the original code which this mod is based on came from a friend and I just modified it to work with snitz. original code author(s) name is not known to me or him. If anyone knows please inform me to give the deserved credit to the real author(s). All I know it's a freeware with no copyrights.
I was searching for a links manager and I ran into one that looked similiar to this mod. It's called Links Manager 4 by Ezebox. http://www.ezebox.com/java/show.asp?ID=410
I think frankie has done a superb job of intergrating this link manager with snitz forums and props goes out to him for it. I want to thank him for the time and effort of all the modifications he did to make it connect with snitz. Keep up the great work frankie.
One question for you, how come you called it listings instead of links?
Also I might re-work this mod a bit when I implement it on my site.

Aznknight,
I think what you found is what this mod is based on. I will check the credits and update the zip file as soon as possible. Thank you for your help and comments and I really like the way you integrated this in your production site
Tomas, It's pretty close but the one Aznknight has found is the one. Thanks anyway
BTW, I called it Listings because it was passed to me under that name .

frankie .......
How you doing? I sent you an email a cple of days ago.
Your listings MOD, I finally have it all finished and working with Netscape. You have an email address where I can send it to?
I also went in and made sure everything reflected with Snitz. You can see it here http://forum.techcare2000.com (one of my test sites) Oh, on this site I did remove the links for the subcats on the main listings page, this way it does not look so cluttered, but I can send you the full MOD the way it was released.

Intrepidone,
I'm glad to hear from you again. I checked your test site and I loved it. I like alot what you did to this mod (very professional). I'm also pleased to know that it's working finally in Netscape (after all the agony you went thru, it paid off). Thanks again and you are a real pal.

First, thanks for this awesome mod. It will be great once I get it working, I think I am real close. When I go to the listing page, you can add a new link. But when the admin logs in, the it does not show that there are new links to approve. It states, "There are 1 urls in list No new URL to approve". The links show up in the Check Links page. But it never allows me to approve or disapprove them. I am running SQL 7 for my database. Do you have any ideas?
Thanks in advance,

It's already done but I have a little problem implementing some of my code in the mod's database setup file. Plus, it's exam week here at school (heavy material) .
The original code for that mod is not mine. I loved the way it's done, so I hacked it to work with snitz and made it easier to navigate thru, plus other things with the db.
I promise it'll be out in the next two days (if problem is fixed!)

make sure to put the copywrite of the original code in this mod

Just wondering if you could post how you fixed the problem with netscape? I have everything working except this problem.
Great mod by the way Frankie! Thanks! Patrick

I spent two evening last week and re-worked this mod from the ground up. changed everything from database table and fields names and data type to the layout. Also added support for banner images and email the submitter when their link has been approved. Let me know if people want this release as new mod...maybe another part of the Snitz Suite of apps
Very good... Could you please ad this as a mod!

Azknight, I like what you did to this. tilttek, I also noticed that the hit counter does't work at Azknight's.
for this mod to work in sql or mysql please refere to previous posts in here.
Thanks to everyone for their support. Peace
