It would be really neat to have the smilies in the blank area to the right of the textarea in the new (and rather splendid!) quick reply feature...
They are just right on the post.asp page and save having to open that new window every time

Sounds lik a good idea, but then you could also think about adding the format buttons 'cause they're nice to have too

You can just type them in to the quick reply box, they are pretty easy to remember, I very rarely use the pallette

Final testing here, Moderatrs will receive a copy later today and then middle of next week the official 3.4 should be released. That's what I read earlier in another topic.

Yes, 3.4 is faster and yes quick reply RULES!

3.4 improves both forum preformance and user productivity with the quick reply.

I'm never very productive around here anyway.

One thing I would like to see is this box be a little wider, it only takes up about 30% of the screen.

style="width:100%;" will make the text area stretch

I'm not sure it'd look good to have a text area go all over my screen when it's not high (I didn't want to say "low")

I say it´s fine as it is !!!!

I just wish the "Include Signature" was checked by default.

I thought there was an option in the profile to auto-include the signature... can't find it though

Oh yeah, the auto-include is not in there.

That is because dynamic signatures are not turned on, it only appears if dynamic sigs are enabled

Hmm okay. Maybe adding CHECKED to the checkbox will save some clicking (makes quick reply even quicker )

it is supposed to be a quick reply, you don't have to include your signature in everything

Huw, the "include signature" checkbox IS checked by default on post.asp right now. I think that if it's checked there, it should be checked on topic.asp in the quick reply too. Consistancy is important afterall
