Thats what my newspaper said this morning, its a shame really.
No matter how fast light travels it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it. http://www.ian-hamlin.co.uk ™ |

Yeah, and have you used it? Its the kinda thing that makes you want to pull your hair out because it doesn't work like its expected to.
Obviously the guys who wrote it had no forum building experience when they started. Though they know ASP.NET like anything. I'm still waiting to see what some of the forum building vets have up their sleeves for ASP.NET.

Hmmm, i was really hoping for a better answer then "VERY Soon" Is there even a time frame, like 1 week, 1 month, 3 months? what kind of reference is there to "VERY soon"?

It means that you won't have to wait much longer... Because the Dev team is testing it, hopefully for the last time, some bugs might still pop-up and they'll have to be eliminated first. That's what's been making it hard for them to give an ETA.

Dude, you have all that info filled in in your profile. If people want to contact you, they'll do it. Especially posting your e-mail address (even if it's a hotmail addy) is a bad idea unless you enjoy having to go through spam...

heh, sorry 'bout that. I'm used to living in a brain dead world where people don't understand "new fangled technology", you litterally have to plaster your contact info any place you can for them to get the picture. thanks for pointing it out that i don't have to be like that here. I'll update my sig.

Well, you're allowed to put that in your signature, but I'm sure you can think of better things to put in there than your contact info
And as I said, displaying your e-mail address on public forums such as these makes you an easy target for spammers.

We told everyone the 3.4 version will be ready within 2 weeks time...and that was 4 months ago. If we knew when we would release it we would have told you. I would have posted it in my first post here.
You won't get a date from us because we don't have one to give. We have decided to give the 3.4 version a trial run here (hopefully next week) on this forum for about a week then we will release it to the public. That's what I posted in my first post.
We don't have a date, so we tell you what we have left to do, so you can determine how long it might take us to do it. That's the whole point I posted a status update. So we won't keep users in the dark as when the 3.4 version will be released.

I'm glad about coming out Ver. 3.4 even if i have to wait some time for it :-)
And i'll be more happy about the (maybe soon) following Ver.4 Beta4, because we all are waiting for the internationalized, including Mods Version :-)
Thanks to all the Developers of Snitz !!!!!

and as a further update, the dev team currently have the RC1 version in their grubby little mits. It will go live here most likely when Richard gets back from his short break, since he has been so heavily involved in this release, it wouldn't be right to do it while he's away.
As Davio said, you will then get a chance to see and use it here for a few days while we make sure we have got evrything right.
