Aaron,

As stated, this was a great bug fix patch. I know that you have only put in critical security fixes.

But.

Is there any chance we could get the "annoying" bug fix where the registration will notify the new member that they are now registered and after a few seconds display an error message about duplicate fields and please go back and correct. (LMAO - this seems to upset new visitors even though I wrote a readme (called, New members read me first!) about this issue explaining that nothing is wrong and to ignore the message!)

I do understand if the answer is no.

Many Thanks

Nigel.

I am unfamilar with this bug... do you have a link to the topic that discusses it?

I would certainly add that.

Thanks, Aaron for the package!

I'm one of the slower members here at Snitz, so all the help I can get is much appreciated. Let's see, I d/loaded Snitz late last year, just finally got my PWS figured out and working, and now am starting to learn about ASP right before it gets trumped by .NET. I feel like a kitten who is not yet coordinated at swatting moving objects. LOL!!

Anyway, might you have any fixes for any of the MODs? I haven't installed any (haven't gotten that far), so I don't even know if there are any bugs. Only one I heard of that had a bug is the Events MOD ... something about it letting a member post but no one else could read it. I am hoping that has been fixed, that is, if I heard it right the first time.

Thanks again for your help. I appreciate it!

Etymon

Aarron.

When I reported this Richard Kinser left me this message :

"This sometimes happens depending on what page you were at when you clicked on the Register link. We have addressed this problem in our next version (no release date yet)."

So I think Richard is your man!.

Many Thanks

Nigel.

Ah yes... this is the infinite redirect problem.

The logic was completely rewritten for 3.4 and the login box was removed from many pages.

This is one that we will have to live with in 3.3... until the next version comes out.

I'm sorry bryan, I don't think you got a response because we are unsure what you are asking. Can you phrase it differently?

Let me guess...

If I download this "bug free" version I will lose all my other mods, like valid. email etc.?

Yes...

This is a clean install... meaning you will need to apply any MODs to it.
