I have downloaded it on my work computer and plan to download it on both of my desktops at home as well as my laptop. Since switching to FFx (way back before 1.0), I have loved the flexibility and higher standards compatibility. Having it among my tools has definitely made me a better web programmer.
SiSL, I'm not sure what you mean about the "lie campaign", but I realize that this is probably not the appropriate place for a debate about the benefits/drawbacks of open source software. I'd be interested in seeing some information you have (websites, etc) that argue against the OSS community or OSS in general. Feel free to email it to me off the board if you like.< |

I was wondering the same thing.
I have downloaded FF through their "lie campaign" and added 1 to the download count.< |

I downloaded it for the heck of it, and then deleted it. I prefer "Opera"< |

Opera is also a good browser. It's a good alternative to Firefox. At least you didn't say Internet Exploder .< |

Shaggy this killed me on a few sites actually the spacing on fonts changes on me what was once 12px in the old firefox that looked perfect now expanded to far and wrapped to the next line. Oh well at least no one else has come back but I am sure it will happen.< |

I was talking more about the distraction of having a new toy to play with!
Haven't noticed any issues with any either of the sites I've been working on today

I have no choice it is the standard set by my company. The designors give us a design and we have to follow it to a T.
Trust me there are many things I do differently when I am working for myself from home.
Shaggy side note here but I need to re add on my wii. Cause I had to format my wii. So if you get online again we will need ot play some Mario kart.< |

perhaps you should politely inform your designers that using absolute sized fonts in a web page is extremely POOR design and does in fact go against all modern web design practises< |

Getting my company to make a change is like pulling teeth that don't exist. There is almost no way to get them to make a change. They set up how they are going to do things like 6 years ago and we do them the exact same way today.
Oh well this is just a job till I can get my own stuff going enough for me to quit and do it for myself. Then I can talk the owner into any change < |

I've had nothing but problems. It lost all my bookmarks (hundreds) from FF 2.0, they're gone (FF 2 is gone too). Bookmarks.html is no where to be found. It took me 20 minutes to find this place this morning to gripe.
Half of my images don't display, checked all the settings according to the Mozilla forums and knowledge base and they're all right.
Wish I'd waited.< |

Weird, all went well with me. I usually trust the google toolbar to store my most common bookmarks, but FF bookmarks are there, too. I just haven't see any real speed advantages, but all the rest is working well.< |

Two main advertised advantages: speed and memory use. It's faster than FF 2.0, that's for sure, but it still seems not as fast as IE. Regarding memory, had two open tabs for a while and it got to 160 MB?! I guess that's what they call less memory usage?!< |
