I have the original version (3.4.06) installed, 
1st: I do not have this option ON (Waiting Aproval members), only show me the Admin option link even when I enter in Admin options and Members to aprove have members between parentises Members Pending (2)
(I got this image on this forum, I do not have installed the left part) 
I have everything setted in the Admin part (I think) but I'm posting an image of my settings
2nd: The forum does not send any confirmation email after registration !!!
I can send it manually  , clicking Send Email to this user in User profil, and it reaches the user mailbox
NOTE: I had to ADD Username and PAssword in ASPEMail component, only that I could send emails, but even sending email correctly in "manual mode" the forum still dont send the email asking for "click to activate"
Any ideas?

I thought that is what 'Email Validation' does and you have that enabled. So to my thinking, you DO have it enabled.

I am not sure what you are saying. Clicking '23 Members awaiting approval' should open admin_accounts_pending.asp

The process to send the 'activation link' in an email is a function of the forum's server processing. If that function does not execute, the Applicant will NOT get an email containing the activation link. Do you (the Admin) get an email stating that someone has registered for membership? Have you navigated to testemailconfiguration.asp with your browser?? Try connecting to the page just mentioned and post summary of the results.
Check these items and post again, please.
