I have 5 gmail invites left to give away. If you like one, please send me an email through this forum with your name and email address. First come first served.

I think it's nice that people who have something that they are willing to share post here. If you aren't interested in one, then why comment?

No hard feelings intended, this is not an attack on people who post negatively on Gmail.

The market is saturated with gmail accounts already. It's hard to find someone who doesn't have a gmail account now.

As I suggested before, just keep the gmail invites. I have stopped giving out invites a few months back, because there is hardly anyone to give it to.

Oh dear - bun fight!

What you did not all see was that I emailed Nertz through the forum to request one of his gmail invites, as I've finally got a possible use for one!

Guess the humour in the response was missed? I, too, like people giving away free things, and indeed (for better or worse) give my tips and advice freely...

I've had my Gmail account for a few weeks and have only used it three times so far, my 6 invites still in place as everyone I know either uses the ISP's webmail or hotmail and doesn't feel the need to move. Everyone knows I have the invites, so they'll know where to go if they want a Gmail account.

pdrg, have not received any email yet. Not sure if emailing from this forum works, I tried a test to myself and still have not received it. Please send me new request to nertz56 at gmail dot com.

cheers,
Nat

I caught the humour. I was just laughing inside. You didn't get that I was laughing inside from my post?

Hi Davio :)

Looks like we've hit a logical loop here... I so love recursivity ;-)

How do you actually get gmail invites to send out to people? I already have a gmail account but have a few mates that want an account

David,

when you log in to your gmail account, on the bottom left you should see if you have invites available to give away. I don't know how they are given out, but after a week I had my gmail account I had 6 invites to give away. When reading emails, at the bottom of the message there is also a link to invite that person to gmail.

If your mates want an account, I still have a few to give away. have them send me an email requesting an invite to nertz56 at gmail dot com.
