Hi. I am running Snitz V3.4 at http://www.dementia.za.net/bbs/

I recently had some problems with mods that had been installed improperly (****ed admins) and now all of a sardine my forum counts for a lot of forums are wrong.

Is this just a case of updating them in the database itself or is there maybe a deeper problem?

Have you tried using Admin Section -> Update Forum Counts?

My MODs:
Birthdays - Custom Policy - F.A.Q. Administration - Forum Rules - Guestbook
Links Manager - MyOwnGoogle - Profile Views - Search Log - WebSearch

Useful stuff:
Forum and MOD Installation - MOD Installation Guide - Snitz v3.4.05 Readme - Free ASP Hosts - Support Snitz

Why do you say they are wrong? What is wrong with the counts?

The counts are wrong for the amount of topics/posts in them... for instance on www.dementia.za.za/bbs/ and under "The for the hell of it Dept." it says there are 8 topics but there are only 4.

As of now I'm just getting Internal Server Error messages when trying to access that forum.

That's odd Ruirib. All my users are still posting on there. It's not too bad a problem I suppose. I could just manually go in and delete the offending records. :) Ta for the help though

Does the update counts terminate with success?

Yesh. It works perfectly but seems to verify the incorrect count

I find that very weird. AFAIK the count is made through SQL, so it should get the values right. What DB are you using?

Hopefully it won't show up again, but if it does, let us know.
