I was wondering if the e-mail notification features include the feature for sending an e-mail whenever a new topic is created, or whenever someone replies to a topic (and the administrators get notificatons of everything.) |

Basically, I want to have a subscription automatically applied to a topic if the user creates a new topic, or responds to an existing topic. Then, I want the administrator to receive notifications about everything in the forum (which I have that set up in FORUM_SUBSCRIPTIONS) |

Have you looked at how subscriptions work in Snitz, as you can use that to accomplish what you want. In short, you allow subscriptions to the whole board, and subscribes on that level with the admin account.
When a member posts a new topic or a reply, the administrator will receive notification. However, if your forum has many active members who posts a lot, this can become very resource-intense. In such cases, it is easier to use the Active Topics page to keep track of new posts. |
