If you are looking to use ASP on a unix server, Chili!ASP is one of the best software out there that does it. There's another software that uses java (or something similar) to emulate ASP on unix server, and it is worst off.
If you take an asp application from a windows server and run it with ChiliASP on a unix server, it is more likely to run ok, with minor problems, than if you used any other software.
So ChiliASP has gotten 2 thumbs up from me, for best emulating ASP in a unix server.
Ok, back to the current discussion. |

ok, to humour the rest by following the Chilli thread :
- what would happen if you had a hosting account that was using Unix, then rang them to demand they install Chilli so you can use some ASP apps ?
- let's go further and say they do want to install Chilli, there is no free version any more like it used to be
- ok, so even FURTHER they find an old freebie Chilli version and install it. Does Snitz even work on Chilli ?, from what's been posted on here it won't work on the new Sun equivalent. |

They wouldn't do it, most likely.

That's true.

Yes it does. But it doesn't work too well with the latest version of Sun One ASP. Previous versions worked ok. |
