I've installed the Super Admin Mod, and I'm not getting any errors, but I'm not sure it's working. I'm logged into my forum as the "Super Admin" but when I attempt to write HTML, it doesn't work. I went to the Admin Options and I did turn it on... but it's not working for some reason.
Am I doing something wrong?

Its a wild guess I'm afraid, but after I install every mod, I click the 'check installation' link in the admin section. Helps reset everything I guess. |

Do I have to put HTML editing "on"? At the moment, it's off. Does that feature have to be on in order to make the Super Admin feature work? |

I guess I'll have to experiement with that. The only problem is that I hate to turn HTML editing on if anyone can use it. |

You have set HTML on for administrators in Feature configuration, right? that needs to be done, but the radio button for 'enable HTML' should still be off. |

Ok... how do you use HTML then? Do you simply write it out? i.e.: <strong>Hello</strong>? |

Yes. When the mod detects that an authorized user is logged in, the "HTML is ON" message will be to the left just above the "Forum Code is xxxx". If this is the case, simply type HTML in just as you would a text editor (like you did above). You'll also note that occasionally it will convert old forum code into HTML when you go back to edit a message (I've found this to be the case for postings with a numbered or bulleted lists). |
