when i first started with snitz a few years ago, i modded the code a little to allow members to add short quotes (similar to ranking) under their avatar. I basically renamed "marriage status" and moddifed all the entries on all the pages where anything related to marriage status was called up. Then on topic.asp i added a line or two somewhere (i forget now) that called up the text... and all was good.
Lastnight i decided to revive my forum and started with fresh code. I also added a new field to the db and mimmicked the occupation field. I ran through any and all pages where occupation related code was, copied, pasted, and changed occupation to avatar quote related code.
So far... it works fine. all places where i want this field to be utilized are working fine. But for the life of me... i cannot locate where to insert the code to call up the text string so it appears under the avatar.
anyone know about where i should look? I have a feeling this will not be as easy as simply inserting a Responce.Write line.
