I just watched a young US soldier being interviewed by a field reporter, whose battalion had just taken into custody what seemed to be 6 Iraqi couriers, who apparently lost orientation in the sand storm and drove right into their camp.

Asked what he thought about the humane treatment they received in view of the bestial actions of the enemy toward our POWs he was giving the reporter a crumb of wisdom which belied his young age.
Here is roughly what he said, as well as I can remember the essentials:

That makes no difference.
It's like "do onto others as you would want them to do onto yourself"...
We are not them.

And here comes the bit of wise fact:

It gives us more incentive to fight, because we know what to expect from them, and it gives them less reason to fight because they know what they can expect from us.

This young man makes me feel proud to be on this side.

Q2: kick Sadam out will free the US from threat? What's Sadam's threat to the US, why is there threats to US?

To clear one thing up, saddam is not only a threat to the US but a threat to everyone man/woman on this world.

Herd instinct, Peewee.
As long as the predator is devouring his prey the rest of the herd is grazing nearby.
As long as Saddam is busy with the genocide of his own polpulation the people in the deepest reaches of China - or wherever they feel they are far enough away - do not feel threatened.

And many are not able to or cannot afford the luxury of caring enough to do anything about it.

To answer your other questions:
1.Yes
2.No, but lesson the threat.
3.Read previous posts.

<Joke>Lol, that's just what we need, movies that will keep people in front of the television, and not exerting any effort into learning what is really happening in their world, make way for the ambassador for the united states, Steven Spielberg </joke>

So how can you tell some of the scenes are fake in the video clip. My download spped is slow - so its choppy when i view it.

The models of helicopter shown in the video are not consistant with thier story. Their story is about "4 Vietnam era Chinook twin-rotor helicopters" yet the video shows some very nice footage of some post-vietnam era single rotor Black-Hawks helicopters in some shots.

Dynamix, I have to say that it seems a bit ironic to me that you are posting an image that is a parody of Bush, Rice, and a few other notable figures, and is a creation of Mad Magazine, a very American publication!! Wouldn't you admit that the mere existence of this image, and its publication by quite a well known American magazine, owned by the media conglomerate Warner Brothers, is at least a little bit evidence that there is not as much censorship in the American media as you seem to think there is???

I said it before, and I'll say it again: I don't think censorship in the media is really an issue in the US, nor is it in most democracies all over the world. In other words, I trust that whatever slant or spin is taken in Germany is acceptable to the people, much as it is to the folks in the US.

As always, stated with utmost respect for all those involved.

I am far from being a military expert, but why in the world would they lie about that?

I don't know why they would, but you can look at the video youself.

What I'm saying is, if they cant athentic video clips to compile their little movie then can anything else they say can be trusted?

And you are the only one that noticed this? Does Fox, ABC, CBS or CNN their rivals know this? I would know one helicopter from another, but why would they put their credibility at stake to show a clip of a helicopter? Sorry, but your credibility went out the window on this one, unless proven otherwise.
