I have updated the .zip file.
If you've downloaded it, please download the file again.
All you have to do then is to re-upload admin.rules.asp and rules.asp.

Thanks for this nice MOD. Very useful.
Just converted V1 for V3.3 to be V4b03 fully compatible and deployed it in 5 languages... to test out a little. Will be deploying it in V3.4 forum as well.

Cheers.

Thanks LeoRat!
If you would like me to post the v4b03 for download in the first post above, send it to me.
I could do some german translation too, if needed. Let me know.

Oh, BTW - this MOD has originally been done for v3.3, you can download it from the post above (Previous Versions)... Could have saved you some work.

Hi, thanks for yor comments. Actually, I have downloaded both, and worked on V1 for V3.3 for enabling it to be V4b03 compatible (as base codes are the same)... Finally got all Admin interface cleaned and uprunning nicely. Needs some clean up on string variable naming... This one is running at i2Asia (my sig below) with English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean...(though am not sure of linguistic quality for some of these as I used MT).

I haven't touched on V3.4 one yet - next. Am not planning to "internationalize" it - as no V4.4 is out yet (which makes it rather difficult to guess what exactly MODS compatibility would be like given there are some code changes from V3.4 for internationalization, etc. (I think). But, it will be very nice to have it on unicoded multilingual forum which I am playing with with V3.4.03... This MOD is nice. Thanks again.

Best

Hi, OneWay. Continuing a bit on the previous version conversion to V4b03... I believe I have now a relatively clean V4b03 version of this MOD V1 for V3.3.
There is one item that I noticed. This is not a major problem but...

in Admision Options, in editing Forum Rule, when you open an existing Forum Rule, Snitz codes are all converted into HTML tags. (At Forum HTML is set to OFF). This is a minor item for a size of content that I am dealing with but could be a bit of extra re-formatting work if a rule content is large for editing.

I haven't started V1.1 for V3.4.03 so I cannot tell about a newer version, but is this a "default" setting ? Or in "Edit" Mode, it would be shown in Snitz codes????

BTW, I just installed V1.1 for V3.4.03 - strait, simple, and easy and clean. Thanks. (BTW, inc_top.asp in readme.txt should be "inc_header.asp"??)

I noted that U/I for Forum Rule Admin>Creat New Forum Rule etc. is slightly different in V1.1 from V1.0. I also noted that there is no HTML tag problem in V1.1 - very clean. Am not sure what is the different in handling Editing function between V1.0 and V1.1 - I kind of compared both admin_rules.asp but could't really tell... do you have any suggestion for fixing this problem in V1.0 (sort of going backward but...). I noticed that this issue was also raised above...

Otherwise, all is fine. I did test all known functional issues with V4b03 version and seems working fine. I will clean up variable naming for LangMOD file and when done, will plan to send it to you.

I converted this to be more a "Posting Tips" type of thing by simply changing the hardcoded text ... Excellent work, OneWayMule! Very easy to install; performs perfectly!
