This would most definitely be a useful mod, enabling conversation to continue seamlessly, rather than locking a topic & beginning a new one.

I hope that someone, a lot more talented than I in this area, will look into it & develop the mod for 3.4.

I'm going to work on it myself, but I'm waiting for 3.4.04 in case there are substantive changes to account for.

Hi,
isn't there anyone out there who could create an easy to handle Split-MOD?
Maybe in a way of first copy the entire thread within the database, then cut the original thread at the end and after that cut the copied thread from the beginning up to the "new beginning" of the discussion thread. You understand what I mean?
I'm not an ASP-specialist, so I cannot do the programming work by myself. Maybe this is an idea to realize such a MOD?
