To Richard and the other cool ASP Masters!!
I have a suggestion for a new official MOD:
The function to search in whole categories, a sample I select from search.asp to search in the whole Category Snitz Forums 2000 MOD-Group and it search in all forums inside.
This function is in many other Bulletin Boards.

That reminds me...I remember reading that 3.4 would have usergroups and I don't see any way of joining a group.

Group Categories isn't the same as UserGroups:
quote: Group Categories enable you to "group" Categories together into "Groups" to better organize how Categories are displayed on your forum.
It has nothing to do with assigning people to a user group and then giving the groups access to forums or anything like that. At least that's what I was told...

well, I've been playing with it and it seems very close to my understanding of UserGroups. Now you got me all confused . Considering you can control who visits what group and edit the group properties, wouldn't it be safe to say that it can be considered a practical means of UserGroups?

dayve,
i was looking at your forum and on default.asp page where you have the links to rolands forum, free-host.info, and other sites there is a column for moderators. why does it need to have a moderator? i think that cell should span the entire width, or is there something in the new version for this?

Yes, I did notice the new navigation oddity ending in -Group. Is there a reason this is helpful as part of the navigation?

Hmmmmm, nevermind. I see now that it could be useful if you just want to reload a specific Group. Oh, I am using the Quick Reply and think it would be better if it remembered that you want "Include Signature" checked.

Because you can have moderators for the urls. If it was turned off, the moderators column wouldn't show. But since it was on, it shows the space for all forums unlcuding urls, because they also can have moderators assigned to them.
Brad, I already showed you my 3.4 test forum that you went to (and called it dayve's). Didn't you say it looked just like a normal Snitz Forum? lol Think those were your exact words.
