Is it possible to modify the way the forums handle edits? Currently when a user does multiple edits you end up with a running list at the bottom of their message showing when the message was edited like this:

Is it possible to set this so that it only tracks the most recent edit rather than all of them? We plan to have a running thread that will be edited many many times of the months by the same user and the running list of edits is undesirable.

I think the easy way would be to turn off the edited by date, in the admin options > Feature Configuration. i cant think of another way right now.

In 3.4 this will be solved, but for now the user will have to remove older "edited by X on DATE" text
