Gremlin, The timezone mod does not require you to know the timezone of the server, it works it out itself, you just set the timezone yyou want to see.
David DuVal You will LOSE ALL YOUR MODS when you upgrade.

You missed my point Huw, you dissagreed when someone stated the times here are meaningless, I'm saying they are meaningless becuase only a few of the people reading the forum here have the benefit of knowing what timezone this server is currently set to / operating in, and therefore are capable of converting it manually to their own timezone if they want to say work out how long ago the last reply to a post was.
I know how the mod works I've been using it since 3.1sr4 :), but this wasn't about the 'mod'

I don't think I did, the times of the posts here are pretty meaningless to me, since they are not in UK time, whereas the server and I am, it is 01:35am here, I have no idea what time this post will be untill I post it, and it doesn't really matter.

I agree, but not completely. If I go offline now and come back here in the morning, a post might've been made that I was supposed to answer. I'll first have to make a post myself before I can see how long ago it was posted and if there is still reason for me to reply. Being able to adjust the time on a user-by-user basis would make things quite a lot easier in those kinds, but also other, cases.
Once I'm here I keep track of posts on active.asp and don't look at the post times though, so in that case it's unimportant what the time difference is between the server time and my time (GMT +1)

You know they wont give you a release date. The closest you'll get is "When it's ready"
