ive looked all over, and cannot find a mod for what i would like to do. it seems pretty obvious...
i want to set up an area where i can post news/headlines, and have people post comments about them. heres some examples: http://zeropaid.com http://geeknews.net
ive seen one snitz modification like this, however it was hand coded. does anybody have any ideas about what i can do to achieve this? any help is appreciated.
yeah i saw this, but does it support replies to the posts? thats what im really interested in. im at work right now, when i get home ill check it out. thanks.
Well you could use the Slash MOD and then create News forum. Set the Slash MOD to get topics from only that one forum and then people can reply to the topics. You might want to set that forum so new posts are moderated to prevent people from putting random posts on your home page.
