can any help me
I finally figured out that this was a browser-specific problem. I kept testing and testing on IE and never found this, but only after using Mozilla did I manage to recreate this error. Just remove cLng from line 1383 like this and it should work fine:
If arrRqCalForumID = ForumForumID then strOptions = strOptions & " selected"
Now can we please leave this topic to die now please. I have an update on the mod coming up in a few days. I'm just polishing some stuff in the readme before I release it.
LOL...DIE Thread DIE. Accually, your events thread had mad it into several "other" version of Snitz. Namely for me SHN version. We are still using your last rev of the events mod (this one) and it plagues us all the time.
for normal Snitz board users. Please see Red1 post above to fix / and or move to the new version hes talking about
for people using SHN v9 version of snitz, please use this link to fix the problem in v9 http://www.shnforum.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4203
for people using SHN v8 version of snitz, please upgrade to v9
The only reason I am mentioning it is because I have seen several SHN peeps post in this thread.

I just installed calander and it is running fine, save 1 problem. When I try to add an event for a certain day. it always posts the event for June 8th. It shows this in the upcoming events list on the default page. Do you know anyway this can be fixed or if this is a big?
Sort of related, when I pick to add an event under a topic, why does it ask me about "Recurring" Under the events section? The options are everyday, every other day, etc. Is this right?

I am using this mod and it works great along with the site integration mod. I was wondering if there is a way to display the active calender into an html page? Like it's showing in the site integration html file. If you look at my website you can see what I'm talking about...only thing is mine doesn't work
Hope this make sense.

Is there anyway to set the "recurring" to none? I don't want to repeat these events every year and I'm not savy enough to edit the code myself to add this.< |

You'll find the most up to date versions of most mods over at Snitz Bitz.

Is there any calendar mod or add-on that handles multiple day events?
Like January 1 thru January 3...
As opposed to posting three separate events for January 1, 2 and 3.

Have just installed the version from Snitzbitz, all seems OK, but when I post an event, it shows in the forum, but not in the calendar ?
Any ideas ?
Site is - http://www.mumshideaway.com/forum/default.asp
And before you ask, yes I have read through the whole of this thread and have tried various suggestions.
Just had a look at the DB and despite posting a few test events, nothing has been written to FORUM_CAL_EVENTS< |

Here the error I get:

Number of query values and destination fields are not the same.
/shadesofwar/forum/post_info.asp, line 977
and heres a link to the .txt version of my post_info.asp file:

Can you figure out whats wrong? im lost
Hi Seph....I had this same error. I had updated the post_info.asp file incorrectly.
I put the statement on line +-565:
%><!--#INCLUDE FILE="cal_post_info2.asp"--><%
before the statement:
my_Conn.Execute(strSql),,adCmdText + adExecuteNoRecords
Once I put it after it....everything worked great !
Another thing I noticed....while trying to get things to work.....if you copy and paste the code from the readme.htm....it does not do it correctly....particularly on the include statements.
e.g. post_info.asp line 565 - pastes like this :- %><!--#INCLUDE FILE="cal_post_info2.asp"--><% should be this:- %><!--#INCLUDE FILE="cal_post_info2.asp"--><%
Everything appears to be working now....except after I add an event nothing shows up in the calendar....still looking for the prob.
Hope that helps

when ya find out the prob let me know. I have the same problem to. I also had the problem. I just took the code out for now. But I will try your way and see what happens. I would put the code in and it would grey out everything after that code.
e.g. post_info.asp line 565 - pastes like this :- %><!--#INCLUDE FILE="cal_post_info2.asp"--><% should be this:- %><!--#INCLUDE FILE="cal_post_info2.asp"--><%< |

That code change worked for me to. But really I dont see the diff between your and his. It is the right code for two of the incertions in that file. That is how it worked for me. I put in an event and it shows on the callender but it says there is no upcoming events< |
