I have a very large forum with numerous mods, based on HuwR's old portal code.
My users started complaining on/about 12/14/15 of the inability to upload photos.
If you select a file from your local computer and click the Upload button, you get a "File not found" error message. There have been no code changes in quite a while, and I verified the site settings are as they should be. Also just verified with the host that the server logs are showing nothing unusual.
Any suggestions on where to go from here? |

Could you send me a link to your forum and maybe create a demo account so I can take a look at what it is doing |

Thanks for the info, will have a play later. Will also check mail settings here, should be working (quick question were you accessing this site via classic asp forum or new mvc interface) |

Ok, will check config, I think I have it set in test mode so it is sending the emails to a folder on the server will sort out later.
could you post a text version of the file uploadengine.asp as the issue must be in there somewhere as the image is getting posted with the form so something going wrong in the processing |

So, if I get the host to apply the Hotfix, that should correct it? Or, do I need to something else?
Thanks, Kent |

ROFL - MS broke a lot of systems with that security patch. |

I have just come across a problem uploading files. I get this error
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01a8' Object required: 'Item(...)' /inc_Uploadmainforum.asp, line 13
Am I right to assume it is due to the same reason? |
