Hi,
I have read all the entries I could find on this topic. I have installed referrer mod and put in some of the other suggestions. My forum is at www.jessaminebusinesswomen.com/forum Every time I try to log on it doesn't hold. I have tried IE, Firefox, and Chrome. I have cleared cookies, browsing history, everything. I have tried other computers not attached to my network. Has anyone come up with another suggestion for this issue?
Thank you, Gina Boling

It is finding the folder my subdomain is pointed to. Is there a way I can hard code the cookie to make this work?< |

Set the forum cookies to website in Admin Options->Main Forum Configuration and the login issue will be fixed. I'm almost certain there will be other issues resulting from that.< |

It works perfectly for me. Logged in, closed browser, returned, automatically logged back in. Are you running a firewall or another application which automatically "cleans" cookies or web traces?< |

Not running anything that cleans cookies. I checked all of them. Cookies were allowed. I have also tried this on other computers, belonging to other people and had the same thing happen.
The forum is under a subdomain on my host account. The forum address should be www.jessaminebusinesswomen.com/forum/ the jbw folder is where www.jessaminebusinesswomen.com is pointed on my host account. Why would that be picked up by path?
Thank you.< |

Is it a GD addon hosting account? Where you put a secondary domain in a folder on a different domain's hosting account for no extra hosting charge?< |

I guess it doesn't matter why it's not working under the preferred path. I changed my link to www.jessaminebusinesswomen.com/jbw/forum. It works that way. Thank you so much for pointing out it was showing the jbw folder. Thank you all for all of your help. Your message board is awesome.
Thanks, Gina< |

I am having this same issue, how can I check/change the cookie url from within the database?
Looking at bobby's reply I am guessing GD = Godaddy? if so I am on a GD hosting account.< |
