Currently the post order is date/time ascending but we'd like to change it to descending so that the latest post is at the top. Is this possible?<

This is not a feature of the basecode ; there might be a mod (=modification) floating around somewhere here or on Snitzbitz.com.
For example this one: http://www.snitzbitz.com/mods/details.asp?Version=All&mid=167
Beware - that mod dates back to 2004 ; some line numbers etc may not be correct anymore.<

In topic.asp find this line
	strSql4 = " ORDER BY R.R_DATE ASC"

change it to this
	strSql4 = " ORDER BY R.R_DATE DESC"
