Hi,

I run a poker website and we have just integrated the snitz forum onto our site, and I have to say it is going pretty well... so far!

I notice using some other poker forums that they have character image replacement. For example if in a post if the user type's Ad it replaces that text with a little image probably 8x8 pixles of the ace of diamonds playing card... 10h (Ten of hearts) Ks (King of spades) etc etc.

Does anyone know of a MOD of this type?

You could use the bad words filter along with a smile.

Add Ad as a badword which would be replaced with the appropriate smile like [Ad]

You just need to add the appropriate smiles.

Either that or you could use the smilie MOD (can't remember the name this early in the morning...) to add some extra smilies for what you want.

If you go with using the badword filter, make sure you include a space before and after what you want or the Ad in add will get replaced.

There goes the smile manager mod. You can add that and can do what you want by adding the icons to it and indicating what text to replace with the image.
