My forum is just getting underway and I (Admin) would like to be notified when a user has posted a Topic or Reply. I have looked all through the admin section and do not see this feature. Is it available or is some codeing need to be done. This is something I would like to be able to shut down when the usage rises.
There is a feature built in for subscriptions (a search will turn up a wonderful tutorial), that will send an e-mail to anybody who subscribes.
You could MOD this to only send you an e-mail, but this would be a lot of work.... being that I'm inherently lazy efficient, I'd just set up an RSS feed and use one of the many feed readers out there that has some sort of notification tool. As an added bonus, your members might find the RSS feed to be useful too.
