Hello to all! I hope all is well for everyone.

Please take a look at a family biz website I created using snitz. I'm amazed at how far I have come with it. In fact, last year I had version 3.4.05, and someone else got it going for me. Now I wouldn't want anyone else doing it for me if I can help it. I have very few mods, cause I love the way version 3.4.06 is right out of the box! You guys are great! I love this community!

Take a look at http://www.photoworks.biz/forum your feedback good or bad is welcome. I love learning from you all!

Have a great day!
Terry

Sorry about that kolucoms6.

I thought it was ... you mean with the category settings set to all visitors?

Thanks again!

Have a great day!

Or, if you could provide a test login (snitz/snitz is a common one), that would be helpful as well. A lot of people don't necessarily want to register on a forum just to look at it for a few minutes.

Ok. No problem. I didn't use snitz/snitz, but this one will do. at http://www.photoworks.biz/forum username-name, and password-snitz. I hope that helps. [:)

Please keep in mind I have been still working on it to get it the way the family wants it.

Thanks again!

Have a great day!

Overall I like the look I think the titles or the individual categories are a little hard to read. But overall I think the colors are nice and not overbearing. I did look at your main site there and not sure if you meant to do this but the looks are completely different I would assume that was on purpose but if you are going to add it in as part of the site I would make those two look a little more like each other.

But very nice job so far keep up the good work.

Hi JJ! Thanks for taking a look for me. I sure do appreciate it. Yes, the "Main" part does look different. I would like to eliminate it because, the forum has always had more activity than that side anyway. Sometime, I have to make the necessary back ups needed to tear that off.

I do agree with you on the individual Titles & Categories. They are hard to read. I played around with the colors, but cannot seem to agree on one that would compliment what is already there around it. Do you have any suggestions?

Anyway, thank you for your time, thoughts & encouragement. I wouldn't have gotten this far without people like you in this forum!

Have a great day!

No problem campinmom

As for the color I would probably go with one of the darker blues you have on the site. Mainly I just think that blue needs to be darker.

Overall it doesn't look too bad. I like the colors, with the exception being the pink-ish color of the active links. It's pretty hard to read on a white background. Also, your forum logo has a gray (nearly white) background, so you might consider changing that to either a white bg on the image or making it transparent.

Very easy on the eyes, though. Nice work.

Muzishun,

Funny, I can see those links ok, but I'm glad you are making me aware that others might not be able to see them. Maybe a corresponding back ground color might help? Or possibly making the logo a bit darker? Hmmm. I'll have to play around and see what I can come up with. Any suggestions while I'm experimenting?

Hello!

Just thought I would check in again to get some feedback about my forum.

I have changed the layout width to 75% and also took out the align attribute in inc_header asp to make room for more or additional content to the right.

I have two questions:

1)Which line on the inc_footer asp adjusts the snitz logo and the timer? I would like it to line to the left like everything else.

2) Also, what file and or line would I look for to adjust the topic reply pages to do the same? Reply's are at about 80% of the window. I would like that to fit like everything else too, or can it not be done?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
