I am wondering if this is a necessary file once the forum is up and running? It seems, just by name, that it can be deleted.

Also, are there any other files that can be removed once setup?

You may have occasion to run setup.asp again in the future in order to (re)populate your application variables (e.g., after a server reset), without these included files, setup.asp will just throw errors at you.

Unless you want to edit setup.asp as well, because they are included setup.asp will be looking for them. They do no harm by being there.
