I had inserted my username and password as advised from the earlier persits topic but I still get this authentication error. Is there another line to add in for authenticated outgoing email?

My hosting company has informed me that they don't allow for email relay anymore so it is best to change me code.
Is the mail server you are trying to use provided by the hosting provider? Or are you trying to go to another mail server? They reason, many vendors do not allow relay to a server not on their network.
If you have an ISP account with a vendor and a email account with that vendor, then it would not be relaying.
