Hi, i have this problem. i want to configure my snitz forum to approve the new user. In e-mail server configuration in Admin section i have only CDOSYS. i pun my e-mail server address but it doesn't work. why ? it's possible to use a open SMTP ?
This might be a question for your host, you may have other componnets you can use to send the emails via your hosts SMTP. If by open SMTP you refer to Open SMTP servers on other sites, these are so heavily blacklisted for spam nobody will get their emails.
