Just converted from access to SQL Server 2000 and though the replies show, the "READ" column shows nothing.

I accidently, before the conversion went to update the "Forum Counts" and it hung on step 1. I just hit stop and at that time I just started the conversion.

Any help would be awesome!

Chuck

One other thing.

In the member list, for all new members that have registered get this under their ranking name now "error" when 0-50 posts means you're a Little Leaguer (We're an Angels fan forum) according to my ranking system. This only effects new members, not existing ones.

I'm scared to run the Update Forum Counts since it bombed the first time, any help would be appreciated.

sounds like you didn't follow the correct procedure when converting from access to sql, running update counts won't help since the problem is in the structure of your db, only solution is either to fix the db by hand (quite a lengthy operation) or to redo your conversion following the guidlines detailed here

Hi there...

I am also interested in this Access to SQL conversion as part of my modernization from Snitz 3.4.03 to the contemporary software. Anything additional to add to the procedure linked at HuwR's post considering my Snitz version or is it universal across the 3.X versions?

Thanks much...

You can just use the procedure as detailed in the link posted by HuwR.
