I think I setup the email correctly I used my email account at mail.mydomain.com and myemail@mydomain.com to send out the emails. Should I use the system that the godaddy uses instead of my email account there? what does godaddy use for economy account? cdonts ?
With my Godaddy account, I use CDONTS. I also created an email called forum @ mydomain .com. In the email server address, you should have smtpout.secureserver.net
Is that for the (smtpout.secureserver.net )outgoing email from the messageboard. instead of using (mail.alleycatraces.com)as the out going email account
If your email is working with mail.alleycatraces.com, then you should just use that. If however, you are having problems with your forum emails, you should use smtpout.secureserver.net if you are using a godday registered email.
I am using GoDaddy.com as well and I need some help.
My email address for my domain email is; info@MyDomainName.com and I have that same email address in my email configuration on my Forum.Can't find your answer here?
I have that forwarded to one of my verizon.net email accounts
But when I click "Can't find your answer here? Send us an e-mail." in the FAQ it opens that email address in my Outlook Express - as it should - but it also reveals my entire Address book as well.
I tried inserting > smtpout.secureserver.net in the forum email configuration, but that changed nothing. The problem still remains.
CSUjr, please post a single time about the same single problem. I have replied to you in another thread. Please reply there if you need further help with this.
