                      | Feels like the MS slogan : "what do you want to do today?" Keep it ; sounds good, and sounds personal! The handwriting font is also very good for it.
first impression on color scheme ; too many contrasting blues.

Actually, I did visit your site, logged in, and wandered around a bit. As a typical American, I'm fluent in only one language and got nowhere. I couldn't find the "magnifying glass". The colors were okay.

Thank you and to Marcel about the colors on my forum. I was comfortable with the blue color already and it didn't bother me. Now you make me think again.
 Is it over-bearing?

                      | I knew somone would take the bait ;). Unfortunaly I am fluent in only one languge too - swedish - but after checking I know that it is called magnifying glass. It is a icon on my opening page and in the second column to the right of text like "Läs hela notisen, Kommentera". If you still do find it I have a problem. |

                      | If you are only fluent in Swedish how do you manage to type such good English here?
I like the color scheme (always did like blue), but I think that shade you are using as your category header color doesn't quite fit.

                      | A, blood, sweat and tears are my friends not only when ASP-ing but also when writing English. Thank you for the compliment
I agree that the shade is really bad - I´ll fix it.

                      | ... the color I was referring to was in the forum Panhandler was asking about in the first post. Guess I should have been more specific in my post... |

                      | Why not use the grey in your logo-mountain for the category header? You get one color less and you get a better connection between the logo and the forum. |

 Okay, done!
The logo water color is supposed to tie in the forum. . .and the mountain color tie-in seems like a good idea.

 But. . .

When the Forum Header and the Catagory Header colors contrast too much, it makes it look like an "industrial invoice" order form. (it gives it that feeling).

Could you take a look please? Thank you.

                      | I think it looks good. Though, if you are going to get rid of the folder icons I'd replace all of them - sticky topics, hot topics, etc... the mix doesn't quite go well. (which reminds me, I still need to fix the active topics page over at Warsong Records...) |

                      | I like it too but I would try to use the forest color (almost black?) in the logo as color of the category text. |

                      | one more thing, I would also use the see-blue as hyperlinktext - to me it looks like it is almost the same color but the same color is better. |

                      | and one more: the background-blue and the see-blue is very good. Is the login-button and the top-header bacground excactly the same color? - if not I would change it to be so. |

                      | Okay, its the category text is now the dark forest green, and the login button color matches the forum header background.
It looks okay. . .not so shocking blue as before.
I've lost my first impression, so I can't really tell anymore if it's good or bad or just so, so.
 Is it comfortable now?
