A few suggestions:

- try to use the colors of your website for your forum as well, so it looks more as a part of it.
- I suggest creating a different logo, a dark one with black background doesn't look too good on a white page
- replace the default (purple/yellow) folder icons with ones which match your forum colors

My MODs:

Links Manager - MyOwnGoogle - Profile Views - Search Log - WebSearch

I thought there were way too many categories for a new board. Once you get a user base you can expand forums as needed, but at first it all looks so ...overwhelming.

And I turned off my stats until I had enough users it didn't look embarrassing.

You've got a good eye for color balance and easy of viewing.
I like both the website and the forum.
But OneWayMule is right - the forum should have the same color scheme to match the website.

Now, for some really harsh criticism.
Get a journalism student to help you.
Investments, both trading and investing, are interesting to me.
My first impression of the site was, "Wow. I think I might sign up."
After scrolling down the forum it began to look really diluted and without a single point of focus.

Even the forum title:
Project Investment - High Yield Investment (HYIP) Forum
What is that? Shouldn't it be HYIF ??
The lack of focus made me lose interest.

OK, I changed the colors and cut down on the categories. tell me what you think now.

Is there a way I can get skin mods for snitz?

Better. "High Yield Investments" caught my eye.
But there's nothing in there...you need a "hook" to get folks started.
A whole forum could be done on "High Yield Investments": junk bonds, corporate bonds, high risk stocks, mortgages, etc.
See what I mean? Tighten up, get focused on one thing that everybody will want to respond to.

Skins:
Snitz is highly configurable in it's "native" state.

I think this site has a free on-line color coordinating help:
http://www.colorschemer.com/
And this site can help you with color codes:
http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_colornames.asp

One last thing; please use correct grammar on a site like that.
"Do you got questions?" is what one forum asks inside.
On the front it says: "You can get all you questions answered. . ."
They should read: "Do you have questions?" and "You can get all your questions answered. . ."

Sloppy mistakes inspires a gross lack of confidence when it comes to money subjects.
You need to clean up the act a little. . .recognize the weak areas and grab them by the horns and wrestle them to the ground.
This ain't no bull. . .

The colors didn't bother me, though Snitz could certainly use skins. I like the fewer categories, and agree you must fix the spelling errors. Use Google Toolbar in MSIE or Spellbound in Firefox to help you with some of the simpler spelling mistakes.

I'm tempted to join just so I can ask the question: WTF is 'autosurf'??? Are all your users going to know this or should you open the topic with a sticky explaining it (to a financial idiot like myself)?

Minor quibble: Your logo seems uncentered vertically. Make it taller or add some space at the top.

OK, I have fixed the mentioned spelleing errors. I will check for other errors soon. Also, I will add other topics and explainations later on today.
