First off thanks to everyone over here that helped me out with numerous email issues, bodged mod installs and the layout of inc header.
Anyway here it is.
I just need to sort some button images for the navigation and some new log in/out buttons and add more content to the portal page.
I also wish to install the calender mod and avatars. Maybe I should of saved this post for a later date?

I think it looks great. The only thing I think detracts is the photo on the home page. It takes away because the rest of the site is "bright and cheery", but the photo looks dank and dark to me. (sorry)
Well, I took the liberty to play with it a little. I hope you don't mind. What do you think...

To be honest I never really looked at the photo once it was selected but now you mention it, it does look a bit dark & gloomy
I bet you would think these are a bit dark too. Just some button images I have been playing with. I'm not sure like that look yet just playing with free trial of Xara Webstyle4.
EDIT. Link updated. Gone with these for now. Doing 2 more sets then taking a poll. Each set on display for 1 week. Members decide & I also edited the photo after your suggestion. Thank's for that! |

You're welcome. You know, sometimes you look at your stuff so much, that you don't see things a fresh pair of eyes see right away. (Sounds silly, I know, but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about)
It happens on my site too, sometimes a member will say "Hey, why don't you do this?" and I look at what they're saying and it's a great idea. |
