On top of the JET error 80004005 errors I am still getting daily, I now have

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113'

Script timed out

/forum/default.asp

for default.asp and forums.asp

PLEASE help as the forum is an active one and my users are getting p'd off!! I may have to abandon Snitz altogether if this "free" support system doesn't work.

The two problems are probably inter-related. For the sake of clarity, I'd probably try to keep everything in this thread.

Never mind, its been locked. Though my last post there is still pertinent to the question.

Anon,

Better keep the discussion here, new issue, new thread. Thx for your care, though .

Brian,

Do other pages timeout too, or is it just default.asp?

Gotcha.

(How are you always just a second faster? I'd just edited my reply and you beat me to that.)

I guess I should probably raise the question again:

Did your problems start right after you made the mods, or is it something that just 'happened'?

I ask because if you didn't do the mods right some unclosed connections could be chewing up your resources. If you didn't have any problems for a good stretch of time after doing the mods, then its probably a host issue.

I'm sure the more advanced here will either corroborate or correct me as appropriate.
