Woo Online Ltd. is delighted to announce that its flagship website, Woo.ie has been shortlisted in the category of Best Entertainment Website for this year's prestigoius Eircom.net Golden Spider Awards.
The Golden Spider Award is one of the most recognised and sought after awards in the Irish internet industry with past winners including websites such as Daft.ie and RecriutIreland.com.
Woo.ie is facing some stiff competition in the distinguished best entertainment category from the likes of The Corrs and TG4 and is truly honoured to be considered for such an award after less than a year in business.
The directorate, administration and staff of Woo.ie would like to thank everyone involved with Snitz Forums 2000; without it neither Woo.ie nor this nomination would have been possible. They would also like to wish all those shortlisted the best of luck on the night.

Thank, Rui
A part of this nomination, though, belongs to everyone here at Snitz, be they dev team member, staff member or community member, who has helped me over the years; without all of you, Woo.ie would not be what it is today

Congratulations! Good to see all the hard work pay off. If Woo.ie doesn't win it must have been rigged.
Seriously though, its a good site and I wish you the best of luck. |

Ay, €200 a head; robbing gits! But it'll be worth it, even if we don't win, we'll be sure to get ourselves noticed!

That's robbery! But I guess if you get to promote yourselves heavily, then it may be worth it :)
Make sure you send your own press releases to your local papers etc, drum up some more local support, and basically write your own articles (or at least a press-ready FAQ 'How did you get the idea for woo.ie?', 'What makes Woo.ie better than the competition?', 'Does Woo.ie work? Has anybody found love through Woo.ie?' etc) to take advantage of the nominations |

Sadly, most Family Court Judges wrongfully reward opportunistic gold diggers that use our children unjustly as "instruments" of power.

Thanks, guys
Already been receiving lots of coverage in local and national press, received a very nice write up in the magazine supplement of The Irish Times a couple of weeks back, but I'm making sure marketing stay on the ball.
Yeah, the seats on the night are a rip-off. AND, they don't even consider you for the shortlist until you provisionally book at least one! Bit of scam, but, what the heck, it's a night out on the company and it can only be good for the site.

Less than an hour to go until the awards; will try and make it back here in the small hours of the morning to let ye know how we get on, if I can see straight enough!
