As with many sites on the Internet, I use affiliate links in hopes of making a few million dollars before retirement. Of course, as it would happen, I am lucky to make a few bucks a month. So much for retiring early!
Anyway, when I post my affiliate links, the graphic image does not appear. I just get the broken image graphic where the image should be.
Here is how I am posting. I am hoping that someone else has figured out how to make this work and it is not a restriction with Snitz.
Original: <a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=QINizQ20PKo&offerid=84645.10000159&subid=0&type=4" target="new"><IMG border="0" width="125" height="125" alt="TII Computer Deals at Dell Home Systems 125x125 " src="http://ad.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/show?id=QINizQ20PKo&bids=84645.10000159&subid=0&type=4&gridnum=4"></a><p>
Edited to work with Snitz (Or so I thought): [ url="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=QINizQ20PKo&offerid=84645.10000159&subid=0&type=4"][ img]http://ad.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/show?id=QINizQ20PKo&bids=84645.10000159&subid=0&type=4&gridnum=4[/img]
Thank you in advance for your help with this.
Oh, I do not use any spaces after the brackets when posting for real. I had to put spaces in this post for it to show up in the forums. |

For security reasons, Snitz does not allow you to post image URIs with querystrings.

Search is your friend “I was having a mildly paranoid day, mostly due to the fact that the mad priest lady from over the river had taken to nailing weasels to my front door again.” |

Thank you for the response. Interestingly enough, I can make the following work:

Code (I added the spaces so I could post it, but there are no spaces in the real code): [ url="http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-1249705-1204541 |

That's because there's no querystring conatined in the URI of that image.

Gotcha. Thanks.
I suppose Linkshare links are going to be a problem then when it comes to posting links. |

Not familiar with linkshare but, if the image URI contains a querystring, you won't be able to post it on a Snitz forum. You can always save the images to your own server to use to link to your affiliate URI.

True. I had thought of that, but the extra work involved in having to save the image and host it does not make it worth while.
There are other affiliate programs that do not require jumping through hoops to work with Snitz. |
