There are some odd people out there...
Just read a story of a guy who went out chasing somebody he met on line and found out it was a 17 year old boy on an Indian reservation. The idiot took the boy (a Federal crime to start) and they ran off together. Somewhere in California they were stopped for a routine check by a State Trooper, and they bolted - across 2 or 3 states. The tried the stop sticks twice, flattening all 4 tires in the process and he kept running until the car was incapable of running any further.
There are some odd people out there. |

Paddy, he was talking to one of our members who, quite innocently, told him what a great site she thought Woo.ie was. At first he accuse her of being a staff member and, when she denied that, he convinced himself that she was a "robot" and that that somehow constitiuted false advertising and was worthy of a death threat. If the directorate don't want to pursue this through legal channels, I'll post some transcripts here; 'tis quite amusing in a way!

What did he think she was? An ELIZA program?
I imagine it was quite funny, and I do hope that people like I'd just read about are very far and few between (not to mention that they stay away from woo.ie). I guess there are some people out there that have a full six-pack, they just lack the little plastic thing that holds it all together. (I borrowed that from somewhere, for the life of me I don't remember where)
Hope this gets resolved peacefully enough. |
