Is it possible to create multiple administrator accounts? Also, what is the difference between an administrator and a moderator? How do the rights of a moderator compare to those of an administrator or a user? |

From http://forum.snitz.com/faq.asp : Can I add another administrator to my board? Yes. Before you add an administrator to your message board, make sure that you trust them completely. Administrators have total control over your message board and have the ability to remove every post, forum and category on your board. Only grant this permission to a member of your forum if you really have to. Start by logging in as the administrator, then click "Members". On the very right of the member you wish to make an administrator, click the pencil icon. A pop-up window will appear with your username and password already entered, just click "Submit". At the bottom of the window, change the users status to "Administrator" and click "Submit".

Moderators can edit/move topics in forums they're moderator of. Administrators can access the Admin Options, edit/delete/lock members, add/edit/delete categories, forums, topics and posts. |

I think it would be good to spell out in the FAQs the difference in capabilities between moderators and admins as you did in this topic. The FAQs explain how to set them up, and imply what a moderator can not do (by stating that Administrators can create/edit/delete/lock categories/forums), but not specifically what a moderator does. For instance, what happens if I assign moderator roles to users, but apply no moderators to any topics? Do I have to in order to make a moderator effective, different than a standard user? Can a moderator authenticate/edit users? Things like that to make it clear.
I think it would help to spell it out in the FAQs. |

Unless you set up a moderator for certain areas they will have no real rights I believe. So that way you can set up moderators forum by forum. |

That's good to know for what I'm looking into right now. "Why do it?" I was wondering. That's why. Thanks. |
