Hi I run a fan site for an 80's UK band called Then Jerico. With the site being a great hit I just had to do a forum - and a handfull are using it! Even the band memebers are thinking of contributing! Not very well advanced in design - just coloured up - in keeping with the website. Go and see and tell me what you think! Thanks http://www.thenjerico-first.co.uk Jo

P.S: Snitz - you are a genius and really appreciate the availability of this sofware! thanks

Nice implementation, and good to see you took the time to change the icons. Some point of improvement ; hide the moderator column, as you've not assigned any moderators (yet). Another tip ; I see you've created a Forum Help category, with a forum for each question (at this moment 2) with only 1 topic per forum. You might want to consider adding them to the FAQ, or use Weblinks instead of forums to point to those topics. |

The column is allways on for Administrators. It's off now for visitors, so you've done the right thing. |

Hi Don't mean to be a pain! I am new to this! I have switched on subscriptions on the whole forum - and I was led to believe that once that is on you get emails letting you know of new posts? I havn't received any - is this because I am administrator??? How do I know its working?? And is that what it does??? Thanks Jo |

Ah! I have realised since I had not switched on allow topic subscriptions on each forum - I have now done that so hopefully it will work now! (???) Jo

Hi just had a question from a user... they have asked can they use more that one email with the same profile/account (home and work email) I guessed if they could you would just put a comma and then a second email address in the email field in their profile? Is this possible? Thanks JO

Jo, I suggest taking this question out of this topic, and start a new topic for it in the "Help: General / Current Version (v3.4.xx)" forum (or "MOD Add-On Forum (W/O Code)" forum, as it will require a mod to be written), and keep this topic strictly on showing off your forum. Unfortunately the marvelous Split Topic feature hasn't made it to the basecode, otherwise I would have splitted this thread myself. |
