Does anyone have any recommendation for a webmail interface that I can plug into MailEnable? I know the professional and enterprise versions of MailEnable come packaged with one but we're trying to keep costs to a minimum right now.

Cheers, yet again, Podge, man. I'll have a look at installing mailenables webmail, so (hopefully it can be installed seperate from the main programme), no great loss if we can't send attachments, it'll mainly be used for checking mail when we're out of the office. We're using Web2Mail at the moment but would prefer to keep everything "on site".
New server's working out very well, thanks to all your help, working on optimising the SQL queries for MySQL4.1 and seeing if I can create any new indices at the moment to help speed things up.

Downloading it now as it doesn't appear I can install MailEnable's webmail on its own.
Incidentally, just tried registering on ForumCo's support forums and received an error telling me that the column name M_AUHIDE was not valid.

Knackers!
Anyway, got that webmail script up and running in no time and seems to be pretty **** spiffy. Going to lash it down to marketing after lunch, let them try and break it!

Ay, as I've established in previous post, they ain't exactly the brightest sparks (hopefully not bright enough to stumble across these posts, anyway!) so, if it can be broken, you can be sure as hell they'll break it!

What's better about that other servers compared to mailenable? I've checked lots and lots of mailservers and am about to buy the pro version from mailenable, but not if you can tell me what's better with those other servers =)

I use NOCC with MailEnable Standard for web mail. Check it out. http://nocc.sourceforge.net/ It's a PHP. You can customised the look and feel of the interface, support attachment and all. So far so good. |

I'm probably going to sell my mailenable pro license soon if your still looking for one.
I've used it for a couple of years now and have really had no problems, I'm migrating to smartermail though beucase I like the better anti-spam integration it has. |

LanKuchang: Can NOCC use attachments even though MailEnable has this functionality disabled?
Gremlin: how much do you want for your license? =)

Send me an email from the forum if your interested, I don't want to recover the original cost or anything will be well below that.
Would be at least a month at this rate before I can sell it though as I have to migrate the users to another server first. |
