I think someone needs to update the Customer list: http://forum.snitz.com/customers.asp. The first three "customers" listed, Astronomy.com, BigBlueBall.com and CTV.ca don't use Snitz, at least not anymore. Astronomy.com uses a package called CommunityServer, and BigBlueBall and CTV both use vBulletin. Unsure what U-Haul is using; it could be Snitz but hard to tell from their forum page.
Maybe it's no big deal, but I would think it would be kind of embarrassing to have a prospective user go to that page, click on those first few examples that are supposedly "showcase" sites, and find out they're not actually using Snitz. That's why I went to that page; I'm a prospective user and wanted to see some examples of sites using Snitz to see if it would fit what I wanted to do.
There may also be legal implications of claiming that a particular site is using your product when, in fact, it is not.
I'm sure there are many other sites that can be plugged in there instead. |

Well, there's Jack Johnson....not a pretty implementation, but still, quite a bit board.

I'm sure almost all of the people that use the software wouldn't mind the extra plug that comes from being listed... myself included.
I'd say take some of the most current, active users, and use some of theirs. Just to keep things balanced though, have a couple of the simpler sites (with tastefull design of course) and use those too.
I love some of the heavily modded forums that you guys have out there, but if I were a person looking for some software and didn't get something close to what all the customers were using, I might think I didn't get what I was supposed to... though, if they were all like the "vanilla" snitz, I might doubt the ease of customization too.
Just my 2c.
(and for the inevitable, shameless plug: Warsong Records doesn't have much traffic yet, but its not too bad for now. Upgrades are coming...) |

Search is your friend “I was having a mildly paranoid day, mostly due to the fact that the mad priest lady from over the river had taken to nailing weasels to my front door again.” |

I'm still playing with the colors a little. Now that I have the forum running off of CSS it opens up a few more possibilities.. |

I agree. The non-snitz users should be removed from the list and some replacements found. I don't know how often it's updated or looked at though. My logo is out of date. I sent Mike an email about two weeks ago with the newest version of it but it appears the old one is still up there. |

The list has been updated.
The 3 sites that were not using Snitz were removed. U-Haul was removed as well. |

After close to a 5 year run, the official Nine Inch Nails web site has recognized Burning Souls Forum as a resource which has brought more attention to our community.
http://nin.com/resources/index.html
The reason I mention this is if you're looking for more Snitz Forums clients to add to that list. However, I'm not sure what definition you may be using as "client" so I'm fine with any decision that is made for adding BSF to the list.
