Hi. I'm just wondering if this forum software has the feature enabling moderator/admin to turn on/off display of participants' IP Address?
Is there a feature list? Or does someone here know the answer to this question?

Thank you for your replies. From reading here about logs and banning, etc. I was certain Admins could see IPs, but I was wondering if it was an easy config thang to turn a display of it on and off so that all participants would see it (or not). So, if I understand you correctly the answer is 'no'?

If I.P. logging is turned off in admin options, doesn't that then turn off I.P.s in topic.asp and pop_profile.asp?

If you turn Non-cookie Mode off, this will display the admin options, including the option to see the IP address of posters. But you will need admin username and password to access it.
Yes, if IP logging is turned off, it should turn off the IP feature in topic.asp. Not 100% sure about pop_profile.asp. |
