Hello,

In the member list, I have a member who has a last post date of today (8/5/05) but the last visit date is 07/28/2005. That seems strange to me but I noticed something else: all of his posts are spam (selling stuff from the same website), so I thought these dates might indicate that he using some script to make posts, and not actually browsing to my fourms. Can anybody give me any input on this? Thanks!

BTW, I think I'm using the most recent version, but not 100% sure... how can you check easily?

A member can post without a login, just by specifying his access data when required by the posting interface. When that happens, his last visit date is not changed and his last post date will be changed. I would guess the member used this strategy to post.
