I've found several threads detailing how to change the background colors of the forums, but is there way to turn them off altogether? We are using a (rather huge - 1024x768) image for the background of the forums, but due to the fact the cells are colored in, we cannot see the background.

In my (in)finite wisdom, I figured that just leaving the value blank in the admin section would fix this, but instead it interpreted it as black...DOH!

Is there a way to modify the forums so that the background will show through? (I expect there to be quite a bit of text color modding just to get it to be legible over the backgrounds, but thats ok.)

The forums in question are at http://www.michaelbitton.com/potaforums and the image we are using is located at http://aspprojects.michaelbitton.com/guild1024x768v2.jpg - if that helps.

Thanks in advance!

When you left the fields empty in your admin options, they were not interpreted as black. The way the table border is "drawn" in Snitz is by giving the main table a cellpadding of 1 and sitting inside another, single-celled table whose background colour is the colour you set for your borders in your admin options so, to do what you want, you'll have to remove that colour as well, sacrificing any seperation of cells in your tables. >580KB is a ridicolously huge size for a background image, though, and you should really consider changing that. Also, by doing what you want, some of your text is going to become very difficult to read.

You're welcome I assume by "visionary" you mean he doesn't have a clue what he's talking about but thinks he does because he's visited one or two websites in his time?!
