Hi, I'm just setting up a forum [and am very happy to have stumbled across this script!] and want to work out how I'm going to monitor that all the posts are reasonable - no libel etc. I don't want to have to approve every post. I believe if I set "moderation allowed in this category" I would get an email each time something is posted (is that right?), I think that will slow everything down, I'm happy that they go up straight away when submitted. What I think I really need is a daily digest of all new posts, if that's not available (I can't find it) is there a way to get all new posts emailed to selected administrators/moderators? I guess I could setup a rule on my emails so they go to a special folder rather than flood me!

In the Feature Configuration in Admin Section, set Highest level of Subscription to Subscribe to whole board. Then, set all of your forums to Forum Subscription Allowed. Subscribe to board. This will send you an email every time someone posts with a link to the post. I think that this is all you can do, other than turning on moderation. I subscribe to my board, and it works pretty well. I look at all of the posts, if there is something objectionable, I delete it. You may want to also install the Split Topic MOD found here, for the times that people start to go off topic in posts.

Excellent, thanks - I'll do that. I guess once I'm a bit more familiar with it I should have a go at writing a daily digest mod.

I would be interested in a diget MOD as well. However, I know very little about ASP, and could not begin to try
