in the forums? I have the forum set up and was hoping this was an option or possible add-on since many of the members to my kind of forum have blinkies. TIA

Blinkies are like very small banners (images really, usually rectangles) that say something.

they are just animated gifs so you would just use them like any other image

Ok, I'm real new to all this so I hope I dont sound like a complete idiot, but how can I allow people to use them in their posts? If the forum allows for them, what do I need to change in my settings to allow them to show up. Thanks so much.

You can have your users upload the blinky images to the board and have them link to the images using the [ img][ /img] tags by placing the URL between the tags.
