I have a problem where Win 98 and Win NT give a different case of the user name and thus I have 2 profiles for the same account (I was forced to register twice).

When I log onto our domain from a NT computer I will have "leif" as Forum user name, but from Win 98 it will say "LEIF".

Anyone else experienced this problem?

It appears that this is a problem with our network as it also affect other applications such as outlook. From NT I am logged in automatically, but from Win 98 I'm prompted for user name / domain / password.

I've talked to our system administrator but it doesn't seem like he can fix this.

Can I modify the Forum to convert all usernames to lowercase? Any dangers by doing this? How much code needs to be manipulated?

-Leif
