This one is new to me, I have NO clue how to configure this...

What do I do with this stuff?

	        'Set and update fields properties
        	Flds("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/sendusing") = 2 'cdoSendUsingPort
	        Flds("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpserver") = strMailServer
		'Flds("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpauthenticate") = cdoBasic
		'Flds("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/sendusername") = "username"
		'Flds("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/sendpassword") = "password"
        	Flds.Update

Are you using this code in something else? or just trying to get CDO working with Snitz. If the latter then there should be nothing you need to change unless your runing SMTP Auth in which case uncomment the username password lines and fill in the appropriate value.

If your trying to use that code in something else, then you'll probably just need to change strMailServer to "localhost" or whatever your mail server is.

just trying to get it to work with snitz.... After messing around with the mail configuration settings several times via the snitz interface, I opened up the mail file to see if I needed to un-comment anything, because I thought I'd read something in another thread stating that you do.

Shouldnt need to change anything by default, sure you've got a working SMTP server though ?
