Uhm, to get back to woo.ie: the only things I noticed that could use work are on topic.asp where the hr in the post (below the post's date) is too low, and I kind of miss the "new topic" and "reply to topic" links at the bottom of the topic. Other than that it's great.

Thanks, Roland. Hadn't spotted that problem on topic.asp as all seemed well in Firefox; appears someone doesn't know how to spell "height"!

Anyone else miss the new/reply icons at the end of topic.asp? I didn't miss them meself until Roland just mentioned it, now I'm in two minds as to whether I do or not! If anyone else misses 'em, I'll throw 'em back in.

Usually I hate bumping topics, espeacially after only a day, but we're launching in less than six hours so now's the time to shout up if you spot any problems/glitches with the site.

Well, I guess the only thing you lack is self-confidence You did a marvelous job, and I cannot say I found any glitch in there!

Heh-heh! Thanks, Marcel Wouldn't say I lack self-confidence but I have been known to suffer from the odd bit of pessimism! Anywee, Woo.ie is now officially online! My work is done, now it's all down to the marketing department; I can relax for a few minutes!

Incidentally, I've demoted the test account posted here to a free member. Don't want some miscreant happening across this thread and deciding to use it to wreak havoc.

Thanks for all your feedback & help, everyone.

Thanks, OWM Been a long road but it's all been worth it; been a fantastic launch - new members are flying in. Already got over well 600 PMs sent. Lots more promotion going on over the weekend so hopefully business should pick up even more over the next few days.

Got to say a massive thank you to everyone behind Snitz for both the forums and for being the best teachers of ASP around; without you we would have been stuck with a naff PHP package that could barely customise. Extra thanks also to Brad for his help integrating Paypal's IPN.

I've bumped the test account back up to full membership so ye can see some of the new stuff we've been working on, including a new look Communicator (PM system), integrated calendar, photo galleries and more. Also going to be doing some work on the default forum page during the week to show some more information like forums stats, last post details, etc. (Originally removed 'cause we didn't want people to be easily able to see how quiet the forums were in the first few weeks! ).

And, after receiving a couple of e-mails, I'm gonna try and get a list together of everything we've done to the forums and certain mods to acheive what we have for anyone interested.

Shaggy,

impressive work!
It looks very nice and it seems as if it is attracting attention(quite a lot of members already...). Well done and good luck!

Regards,

By the way, Merry Christmas every one!...

Thanks, digital We got off to a good start but the proof now will be in the next couple of weeks to see if there's enough interest there to get people to part with their cash. A good few have already but not enough yet to cover costs so here's hoping.

I'll look forward to that. I, too, run a site that isn't based around the forum, and it would be really nice to be able to use some of the things that you've done in mine as well. Great job all around. It isn't even recognizable as Snitz!

Cheers, muz'

Tried sitting down to work on that list over the weekend but, what I could remember, made for a hell of a lot of typing, so I gave up!

If there's anything in particular you want to know, just post it in the Mod w/o Code forum and I'll do me best to help you out.

No worries. I'll take another look around and see what you've done that I might be able to use.
